Pittsburgh International Airport first in world to commit to 2030 Challenge goals

“Pittsburgh International Airport announced Thursday that it would commit to meeting the 2030 Challenge goals, making in the first airport in the world to do so.

Under the challenge, the airport’s buildings will strive to reach the goals of 50 percent reductions in energy use, water use, and transportation emissions over the coming decade. Pittsburgh International will receive technical assistance on their building performance, sustainability initiatives and progress toward the emission reduction goals.”
