The Green – and Clean Energy – Stories of Pittsburgh: Host City for GCEAF 2022

Showcased here are stories that bring to life the power of Pittsburgh as not only the birthplace of American energy, but one of the country’s leading energy innovators – now and into the future. They are presented via a partnership between the Allegheny Conference on Community Development and the Green Building Alliance.

These stories were curated around the Global Clean Energy Action Forum, which was hosted in Pittsburgh in the Fall of 2022, to provide media and others who attended the Forum with a convenient resource. We invite you to explore this sampling of the many examples about how Pittsburgh is leading in shaping what’s next in energy – not only for the region, but for the world.

If you are a reporter and are interested in an interview opportunity with any of the innovative individuals, companies or organizations profiled here, please reach out.
